Adventure travel in South Africa

South Africa is a country of contrasts, with first world city areas faced wild wilderness areas and suburbia contrasts by huge tracts of land where only wild animals live.
The Drakensberg Mountains are a series of mountains by the lower end of the rift, with peaks up to 3600 metres. There are many hiking trails, which these mountains with accommodation huts and caves at intervals along the way to go. There, the weather can change in a few minutes, with heavy snow, and many people had to by air force chopper, be brought out, so that you choose carefully, must the season. The landscape is breathtaking however.
Below on the East Coast is the storms River Bridge, one of the highest concrete arch bridges in Africa, and it there a permanent installation of bungee jumping. You fall a long way before the rope starts slow!
There are a number of old steam locomotives that run more trains to scenic parts of the coast and the Midlands. For tourists, are run, and booking is essential. The steam trains are by clubs of enthusiasts, and are in shiny State to keep. If you like the smell of coal smoke and dust in the eyes, this is for you!
Kruger National Park is a huge game park on the northeast corner of South Africa, on the border with Mozambique. It takes you longer than a day to drive through the Park from South to North, but it is better to spend at least 4 to 5 days there, to see the game. The big 5 are all there - Lion, Rhinoceros, elephants, Buffalo and Leopard as well as crocodiles, hippo, Cheetah and a huge collection of various antelope. Accommodation is in Bush camps, and can your level of luxury, from the 5-star tent of Bush camps. (Bring spray your anti lion.)
South Africa is full of really good beaches. The water on the East Coast is warm and surfing and body surfing and kite surfing, snorkeling, fishing and kayaking all common in the area. There are also resorts with water slides, with some of the scariest marine world in Durban - is almost vertical one at Ushaka of them!
In the cold waters of the South and West coasts, whale watching and Hai contacts are the rage, reduced with people in the ocean in shark CAGES, cages, to experience the perfect predator of the sea really close up! Also, is in the area of the cable car up table mountain, offers spectacular views of Cape Town and table Bay.
In the Central and Northern South Africa large parts are almost uninhabited desert areas, where it usually no phones of any kind, no cell phone coverage, no TV. The roads there are pretty good, but take many water - it is up to 53 degrees Centrigrade in the summer.
This is just a few of the adventures you can have in South Africa. There are also white water rafting, cycling and endurance races, rallies, quad biking, 4 X 4-way, parachuting, choir journeys, and so on and on.
