Television production-les twenty-three, field Shows, travel and Europe

Amazing! I'm sitting here marveled at the public television show I just watched. Today I tuned in Channel 13 (public service broadcasting station that is located in New Jersey. It just happened that a show called Rick Steve's Travel Kit was in mid-session. For a great fee (which is a donation to the station), viewers and readers (there are books) can at Rick Steve's side in Europe.
The sites were great. Well, since I have never been to Europe, they were great sites for me. Sure, I've this sites in books, but the way that Rick Steve presented Europe and many other countries, made me feel like I was there. I felt that I had just got off the plane with Rick and his crew of the camera. This show was a combination of a story about a tour through Europe and also a story about touring with a field complete production crew. I loved the part where they pre-production, production and post-production, discussed in the field. That brought back memories of my own television training for me. Rick showed equipment, cameras, and talked about the process of this production that the Rick Steve Europe 101 complete.
Usually, when you look at travel shows, is all you get to see the spotlight on certain well-known sights, monuments, cities or buildings. However, with Rick's show that was just on Channel 13, viewers got a birds-eye view of the pre-production, production and post production processes, plus the viewer saw amazing historical sights. The soothing music that accompanied the production was of APM Music Productions, and itt was tied up in Europe (and in many other countries). Steve focused on Europe and many other countries. What I loved about the prodcution was also there were no commercials but there were sponsors such as bread for the world.
It was a pleasure to see the equipment, the backgrounds, the sites, the tourists and the crew (a minimal crew) in this beautiful documentary, a narrated documentary about Europe and other foreign countries (from the point of view of being in America). For all newer producers and even for seasoned producers I recommend this show and a similar program that features tours through Europe and other countries. The learning experience is great and most rewarding. For those of you who to Europe and other countries, you will still enjoy this TV show on Channel 13 from a standpoint of memory and you can create your own jour nies through Europe by Rick Steve's eyes and voice reliving.
