Best attractions in Canada

Our neighbors to the North have some very nice places to visit, in addition to, the pop to mind, if you say "Canada". Also for a dyed in the wool-hockey will find so much more to see fan like me and do as a hockey stick to shake could in this beautiful country!

Canada has many festivals, each to celebrate a different aspect of their culture. On the one hand, there is the Theatre Festival with some of the best theatrical entertainment. There are three festivals with Shakespeare: Stratford, Ontario, (which is really well done), Bard on the beach in Vancouver, British Colombia and Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Bard the English not your cup tea? There are no less than thirteen other festivals, some dark drama of frothy comedy-available in English and French.

If you want to do something more active or adventurous, Canada offers much both as well. There are you closer than you thought ever possible to see other wildlife tours out up close and personally take you right up and other tours on a small boat to the humpback whales off the coast of Newfoundland. She could spend part of Canadian holiday eye-to-eye with a polar bear, a moose or a giant walrus!

Toronto is Canada's largest city and has a lot to offer. Of course had I my ice hockey of fan status give up, when I mentioned that here is the Hockey Hall of Fame, but believe me, it is to do only one of many, many things. World class dining is available in the Distillery District, as well as many art galleries to please the senses. Toronto is also home to the Royal Ontario Museum and the world renowned Toronto Zoo. Oh, OK, is also home to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Montreal is not only home to the NHL Canadians, it is filled with some of the most beautiful cathedrals in the world. It includes the Mary, Queen of the world Cathedral a 1/4 scale copy of St. Peter in Rome. Montreal has a planetarium, a biosphere reserve, and some of the most beautiful architecture anywhere.

Ottawa is Canada's fourth-largest city and home of the Ottawa Senators. Its top is Parliament Hill Ottawa tie has some of the best collection of museums, which could have any city to include the Museum of civilization, the science and Technology Museum and national aviation museum. Nature lovers delight in Gatineau Park, and there are many festivals open all year round, including the Jazz Festival in the summer and Winterlude in winter.

Edmonton is home to the Oilers and has to brag about, but if it is shopping, you want an own museums and parks, can only your city in Canada to Edmonton. The West Edmonton Mall has 900 branches has its own IMAX Theater and amusement park, including a separate water park for children directly at the place. See? It is not just Moose and hockey players, is it?
