Young world traveler hopes to inspire others to travel through his photography

Andrew Ingersoll is well known to readers of popular blog of Rick Ingersoll, The Frugal Guy's journey, for images of people, places and cultures is captured around the world. At the age of 29, Andrew has already visited 47 countries and, armed with all the free and frugal travel techniques he learned from his father, he's not going to stop.

"The suggestions that I have collected for 'Pop' have allowed me to continue travelling at reasonable prices and share my experiences through my photography," said Andrew recently.

Rick Ingersoll is retired mortgage banker who became a hacker "travel" as a hobby that he and his wife, Katy, could spend their retirement years travelling the world. He began blogging about their tips and techniques to bring together thousands of frequent flyer and other techniques to travel without in 2007 (his current "funds" of frequent flier miles is 1.5 million) and author of the book The Frugal travel Guy manual in 2010. The hobby became a business as readers grew and the travel industry began advertising in it.

It was not long before the family of Rick "the game", as he calls it-including Andrew, who quickly learned that "the world is a fascinating place, and I would like to share some of their glory with others who are not able to pick up and ready".

He uses his photography to do - photography which defies the State of "amateur" of Andrew.

"It would be great that it could inspire others to travel through my photos," he said. "Traveling and living cultures and customs open minds and the challenges of the ignorance and prejudice, interpreted by the media of communication".

In Traverse City, Michigan, Andrew graduated from the Michigan State University with a Bachelor of nursing degree in 2004. He began to travel to Europe on holidays and during summer breaks while in school.

"When I found out that the world was much larger than the white middle class," America, said the photographer's slim, sandy hair that is currently stationed in Antarctica. "It inspired me to absorb both from other countries and cultures as possible."

Andrew began his photographic diary with a "point and shoot digital cameras," he said and picked up a Nikon Coolpix in a Malaysian, "especially because" market the price was right. But when he decided to visit all seven continents before he turned 30, I knew it was an update in order.

"Gave me much in a Nikon D5000 at Costco this past month of December and Antarctica was my test background".

He moved to Seattle, Washington, before he graduated from Michigan State. "It was at this time when, as a family, we began to discover the real benefits of frequent flyer miles," he said. "My first trip to Asia was in a ticket Prize in United Mileage Plus that took me from Seattle to Tokyo to Singapore." My eyes were now fixed in such different cultures of Northern Michigan, I was hooked. "And to this day, I love Asian culture".

In a 28 day Intrepid Tour of Thailand, Viet Nam and Laos, Cambodia, Andrew met an Australian man who gave him the idea of carrying out a foreign graduate.

"When I returned to Seattle, I found that the programme of master's degree in international public health at the University of Sydney," said. "Calculate analysis of benefits of cost of attending a University of Australia against America was ready to jump ship." I made the commitment to continue to Australia, but not without marking one of the things on my list of ' cube ' first. "

"Cube list Andrew", who insists that he did much before the movie "The bucket list", was released - was actually a list of Top 25 a friend suggested to do. She could see he was struggling with what direction take in his life after receiving his university degree.

He recalled that "By what she had me record experiences of 25 major wanted to life". "I still have that list today".

The list inspired him to join a medical mission to Mali, West Africa, where he starred alongside Mali medical and nurses at a hospital for women and children. His work was part of a team of relief that helped local staff with high-risk birth.

"Once again, opened my eyes and my mind raced."I was so grateful for the opportunities that he had been granted, it said. So after some very emotional times in Mali with some of the most incredible people, I joined another Intrepid tour to spend 15 days in Morocco." That was my first taste of the Arab and Muslim culture. And I wanted to experience it as neutral as possible. "

In February 2008, Andrew moved to Sydney, where he received his MIPH and occasionally worked as an evacuation and repatriation nurse - nurses who take sick and wounded people to Australia Islands in the South Pacific for the treatment of otherwise not receive.

"This is great fun and very rewarding - flying off in the South Pacific to pick up to someone and that he or she Australia for treatment," said. "I've been to New Caledonia, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Kirabati, Tahiti, Norfolk Island, Tonga and Vanuatu".

Andrew now works part-time in the clinical research as he begins to pursue a doctoral degree in jurisprudence at the University of new South Wales in February, a degree of graduate in three years of law designed for professionals to enter a career in law. "I'm sure The Guy Frugal travel blog will follow to provide me the tools needed to accomplish my personal goals of travel", said.

What's next in your program? "Caving in camper travel New Zealand and Malaysia Borneo", he said. "And I'm still in the planning process of visiting the great wall of China with dear old dad."

In your wish list: Bolivia, Nepal, Ghana, Mongolia, Croatia and Maldives. There is no doubt that he may fulfil his desires, much less than his father.

"I like that have the courage to undertake some of the adventures of Andrew has been", said Rick. "Not only see the world at prices you can afford, sometimes in the most basic of native accommodation makes it." Actually receives in the culture that I've never been able to in. I'm only a tourist when I compare my travels to Andrew. "It's a traveller in the real world."

Andrew made his trip photos and humorous comments on blog of The Guy Frugal travel every Wednesday and Sunday. To view a file from their posts, visit http://frugaltravelguy.blogspot.com.
